Following the great artists, poets, and thinkers who strive to steer the tumultuous waves of that pond of tranquil chaos called "THE WORLD," Deep Mountains return with this album after years of experimenting with the boundaries of Chinese traditional aesthetics, Post Rock and Black Metal sound. To preserve and glorify the vigor and audacity of human qualities. To grant strength to the individuals so that they may resist the injustice bred by the intrinsic and inextinguishable Darkness that looms the world. To Purity, and nothing more.
Statement from the Band:
"We often find ourselves filled with questions, pondering whether our expressions are inward or outward, self-centric or accommodating, concrete or abstract. We cannot concretize what music itself truly is, but we believe that individuals, imbued with contemplation and distinct personalities, can thus imbue the same music with different meanings. This is the collaborative process between creators and listeners that completes a work. We may attempt to envision art as blank, hollow, intangible, and introspective, yet its significance lies in guiding humanity to contemplate, persist, explore, and remain hopeful in times of emptiness and void. Though accompanied by uncertainty and doubt, fearlessness and courage coexist.

The time has come for the fifteenth anniversary of the Deep Mountain Band, which also marks fifteen years of our band members' youth. "Snowy Mountain White Phoenix" is not a summary of these fifteen years but a reflection and contemplation of the creative motivations of the past one or two years. However, it serves as our answer and response to ourselves: we are still continuing to create and love rock music, and we will keep moving forward."
