Despite its goofy outlook, SRG represents one of the better bands following that blackened retro psychedelic ritual heralded by Black Magick SS. Even though his music is almost entirely dark synthwave, those perfectly sampled monologues, intoxicating mystic songwritings, and elements from horror genres, all make Capra Cathedrall a marvelous gem that anyone into the gloomy fantasy world of occult rock should not overlook.
