Kaleidoscopian nebula descends unto the twinkling surge of the milky way while the human civilization got washed out by the grand celestial floods - Airylion's debut EP is no doubt an ode to the collapse of modern world. Hailing from Beijing, Airylion is a atmospheric black/doom metal project founded by vocalist Caliban and guitarist Potaonic in 2019. Their music is a brilliant execution of blending elements from the melancholic mist of atmospheric black metal riffs and ambient yet heavy doom/post rock. Their debut EP titled Before the Collapse represents their first attempt to redefine the sound of extreme metal today while exploring themes of post-modernism, experimental ambient, and epic of doom. This ep will be released by Pest Productions in the format of cassette only, limited to 100 copies.
