Timtas, the self-titled debut album by Timtas, an ambient depressive black metal duo from Ürümqi, China. unfolds as a long and introspective spiritual journey through vast, icy soundscapes. Within its cold and expansive atmosphere, the band weaves together themes of loneliness, nihilism, and self-redemption. Memories buried beneath ashes, sighs left unheard, and the inevitable confrontation with decline and disappearance form the emotional core of this work.
