Drivsin | 罪恶驱动 is an enigmatic industrial ambient duo from Beijing, formed by two highly prolific figures in the scene (most remarkably, contributor of Black Myth: Wukong OST). Their debut full-length album, Hello World, is both a love letter to the frigid affect and misanthropic dogma of this genre’s vanguards, but also boldly infuses the already bleak soundscape with hues of Zen tranquility. Within the eight chapters of the album, they demonstrate a precise and multifaceted command over the shaping—and unmaking—of soundscapes, dragging listeners into the formidable architecture of the mind, inescapable.
