Urizen Society returns with one of the most ambitious projects from the Chinese underground in recent years —— a three-act musical theatre piece entitled JHLEBUN.
The saga of JHLEBUN begins on a clandestine island north of Antarctica. There, Lord Warten, driven to madness by a sinister nightmare, descends into tyranny against his own kin. To safeguard their lineage, his wife Coagula and daughter Oris flee with two sacred family artifacts—an act that unwittingly ignites a convergence across the "Γolos" (parallel realms), heralding the arrival of the JHLEBUN.
As JHLEBUN emerges, a Chosen One named Solva is dispatched by a mysterious order. He embarks on a perilous global odyssey aboard the fleet Florebo, eventually ascending the decks of the colossal white ark, the Basilissa Saba, where the mystery of the stolen artifacts is at last unraveled.
No longer Black Metal in form, yet a devotion towards Mystique and Hermetic Art still prevails as the driving force behind these 15 soundtracks of the transcendental. JHLEBUN (the album) can be best enjoyed as an audio-play without a stage, alone, and let the music reenact for you the quest of Solva.
