Like a dream in slow descent, Silent Sorrow weaves coldness and tenderness into one, drifting between searing noise and hollow melody—a fleeting blaze of loneliness, regret, and the quiet poetry of self-erasure.
Emerging from the mists of Xiamen, China, Silent Sorrow moves along the border between depressive black metal and shoegaze black metal. Founded by Gastric Puncture as a solo vision in late 2022, the project has since grown into a complete five-piece band after three years of evolution.
Their debut EP To Burn in Blizzard captures the sound of fire entwined with ice—where, at the edge of a world swallowed by wind and snow, all emotion and memory seem to fade into nothingness. Released as a limited Digipak CD edition of 300 copies.
