With Starlit Tapestry, Silent Millenia emerges fully formed from the Finnish underground and all its cacophony -- a soundtrack drenched in cosmic frost. This Finnish act's debut is a rare alignment -- resolute in its allegiance to the golden age of symphonic black metal, yet untarnished by mimicry. Often reminiscent of the mastros like Obtained Enslavement and Windir, with a vehement grandeur, their sinister guitar riffs rise like siege engines, while vaulted synths conjuring a celestial tapestry of dominance and ruin -- each riff a declaration, an orchestral flare of conquest across the Void -- a perfect renactemnt of Symphonic BM and its Golden Era: its Majesty and Menance.
