Leading and watching, those breaths of a veil too thin, a web where stars of the past align like dew, playfully, in dreams, guiding you and your faltered steps -- stammered, your choices of words, by the yearning in the shape of your prayers your words, to plunge into that veil and all its shimmering knots -- its very gust. Drifting dreams, where steps of yours and others stream into One, to a Time when the days and nights still remember what it takes to remain in those breaths and visions, gently, from one to another, dispersed and silent -- their promises, your longing: between worlds, across the flicker of a moment, when your prayers encounter their breaths in the dusklit sky, you should and will recognize each other one more time, forever in motion.
In the latest full-length from this Brazilian sonic wizard, Bríi presents to us a spectral dance between mourning and serenity -- a poem and confession, whispered through intangible prayers and melodies in shade. Conceived as “black metal to sleep to,” Camaradagem Póstuma strips away distortion, embracing blast beats and rasped vocals without the expected sonic violence -- now already a trademark of its mastermind: electronic, melancholic, flowing but hushed like rainforests and their rumination. Drawing on memories of the departed and the echoes of faith, its drifting soundscape pays homage to the “posthumous fellowship” held dearly within every soul, bathed in quietude, in reverence, in love.
The official Digipak CD will contain two bonus tracks: "Oração Dançada" and "Evocações de Afeto."
