It’s certainly a plausible decision to separate the more mathcore-leaning ideas with those more “traditional” materials reminiscent of the finest epic black and heavy metal. Long tracks, unrelenting riffs, (still) unpredictable structures, threaded together with soaring guitar leads – Serpent Column has proven again his versatility in conjuring a soundscape that embodies the true radiant chaos.
